The event is a 5K run or walk. It takes place on July 11, 2026 in downtown Lowell, Michigan. The start and packet pickup location is the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce Building at 113 Riverwalk Plaza.

The route is described as family friendly and suitable for strollers.

Event Details The event uses chip timing. Every participant receives a finisher's medal. Age group awards are given for first, second, and third place for males and females in the following categories: under 18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. A special prize is also awarded to the top overall male and female finisher.

Packet pickup is available on Friday, July 11 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the morning of the event starting at 7:00 AM. Registration costs $35, with the price increasing after June 26, 2026. A race t-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register before June 27, 2026.

All proceeds from the event support a community of widows and orphans in Eswatini, Africa, providing assistance for food, school fees, and building projects. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
