Run the Riverwalk
Run the Riverwalk is a community 5K (3.1 miles) event held in downtown Lowell, Michigan on July 11, 2026. The course follows the Riverwalk and is described as family friendly and stroller friendly. The event is open to walkers, runners, students, adults and families.
Every participant receives a finisher medal and the event will be chip timed. Age group awards are presented for males and females in 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Age groups are: under 18; 18 - 29; 30 - 39; 40 - 49; 50 - 59; 60 - 69; 70+. A first place finisher prize is designated for the top female and the top male participant.
Registration opens January 9, 2026 and closes June 26, 2026. The listed registration fee is $35.00. T-shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed prior to June 27, 2026.
