Run the River Ultra - Williamsburg
Run the River Ultra takes place on December 5, 2026, along the Virginia Capital Trail with all courses traveling west and finishing at mile marker 51.7 at Low Line Beginning (Dock St and N 17th St). The event presents multiple point to point distances and finishes at the same location.
Distances include:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 Miles
- 50K: 50 Kilometers
- 51.7 Mile Sturgeon: 51.7 Miles
Each distance has a separate start location. Runners are responsible for their own transportation between start points and the finish. Start locations named in the event information include the Jamestown Beach parking lot in Williamsburg, a Virginia Capital Trail parking lot in Charles City, and the Henricopolis Soil & Water District building on New Market Rd in Richmond.
Registration is capped to keep the field small. The event uses no race bibs and no official timing.
