Run the Ridge 2026
Run the Ridge 2026 takes place on Saturday 15 August 2026 at Laragh GAA, Knockfin. The event consists of trail races routed over Derrybawn Ridge and through Derrybawn Woods and is organised by MyRunResults Ltd.
The planned race categories include:
- 20k trail race over Derrybawn Ridge and through Derrybawn Woods
- 10k trail race through Derrybawn Woods
- Junior race 3k courses AAI and non-AAI
Entries for the 20k are limited to 100 places because of erosion risks on Derrybawn Ridge; 30 of those places are reserved for Wicklow Athletics runners. The junior races use 3k course layouts and include both AAI and non-AAI options.
