About the race
Run the Ridge is a mountain and trail running event held in the scenic Derrybawn Woods and Ridge, located in the Wicklow Mountains, Ireland. The 2025 edition features multiple race distances: a new 30k trail race incorporating the famous Spinc boardwalk and parts of the 20k route, a 20k trail race over Derrybawn Ridge and through Derrybawn Woods, a 10k trail race within the woods, and a 3k junior race on a trail course including the Green Road and lower Derrybawn Woods. The event offers a challenging and picturesque course with limited entries to protect the environment, creating an exciting atmosphere for trail running enthusiasts.
