About the race
Run Run Rudolph returns for 2026 at Kilcullen GAA (R56 YX81) using the same courses as the previous year. The event offers three routes with colour coding (Red, Green, Purple) so participants can follow the correct route. The 5K and 10K are described as flat and fast, while the half marathon is described as tough and fairly hilly.
All routes interact with each other and are clearly signposted. Only the 5K is open to walkers. Dogs are permitted if kept on a lead and under control at all times. All events are chip-timed.
Prizes are planned for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers in each event, and additional age-group prizes may be offered if sponsorship is secured. Fancy dress prizes will be awarded for best boy, girl, man and woman. Online entry closes at 6 PM on December 12 and late entries will not be offered; registration may close earlier if participant limits are reached. The organiser offers a postal service for race numbers for an additional fee, with numbers posted about one week before the event.
