Run the Resort 5K
Run the Resort 5K takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Mission Resort + Club in Howey in The Hills, Florida. The in person course runs through manicured resort grounds and passes lakes, golf fairways, gardens, and historic architecture.

- 3.1 miles virtual option
Race entry includes a custom finisher medal, an official event shirt, professional timing for the in person 5K, shipping for virtual participants, and post race breakfast sandwiches and beverages. Packet pick-up is available at the Club House on the day before the race and on race morning at the Club House. Online race day registration may be available shortly before the event if the race is not sold out; there is no on site paper registration.
A Two Course Challenge links this event with a spring Run the Course event; completing both earns two connected medals that join to form a single combined medal. A combined entry provides a 10 percent discount on each race.
All participants must be registered; anyone running without a bib will be asked to leave and may be banned from future events. Strollers are welcome and should start near the back. Pets are not permitted on the course; service animals are allowed with advance notice.
