Event overview
The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire presents the 5th annual Run the Rail Trail 4-Miler on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Londonderry, NH. The event is a fundraiser for the museum's youth education programs, including a summer camp and a high school plane-building project at the Manchester School of Technology. The entry distance is 4 miles and the event is open to runners and walkers.
Course and logistics
The course starts and finishes at the Aviation Museum of N.H.'s 1937 terminal building at 27 Navigator Road. The route winds through lightly trafficked streets and the historic village area of North Londonderry, includes a recently opened 1.2-mile section of the Londonderry Rail Trail through the Little Cohas Brook Reservoir area, and returns to the museum. The surface is entirely paved. There are two water stops on the route. The course features a significant elevation rise in the first mile followed by a steep descent; participants are asked to consider not using strollers. Pets are not allowed. Timing services are provided by NovusMage. Traffic control and security are provided by the Londonderry Police and Fire departments.
Registration, awards and extras
Early registration pricing runs through March 31, with a higher fee beginning April 1 and a race day fee thereafter.
