Cinco de Miles 5K
The Cinco de Miles 5K is a festive running event held in Bedford, New Hampshire. The course begins in front of Bedford High School and proceeds along County Road. Participants follow an out and back loop before returning to finish on Nashua Road. For those unable to attend the in-person race, a virtual participation option is available, allowing runners to complete the distance from any location.
The event features the following distance:

The first 1,750 adult and youth registrants receive a quarter-zip pullover. Participants aged 21 and over receive tickets for a post-race beverage, including beer and margaritas, which can be redeemed at an onsite celebration. Post-race refreshments such as chips, salsa, yogurt, and bananas are provided to participants.
The event includes a competitive component through a points system and is part of a larger running series where finishing multiple events can lead to additional rewards. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in five-year age categories ranging from 12 and under to 80 and over. Digital race photos and finisher videos are provided to all participants following the event.
Parking is available at Bedford High School, and carpooling is recommended due to specific traffic access patterns on race day. The event supports the Bedford High School Athletics Booster Club and Girls on the Run NH. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
