Run the Peak : Apex, NC
Run the Peak is a community running event in Apex, North Carolina, held on March 7, 2026, with activities centered at Apex Town Hall. The event includes measured running options and a family-oriented fun run through parts of Historic Apex.

The event supports the Apex Chamber of Commerce. An interactive health and fitness fair with local providers is part of the event program. Participants receive event shirts and medals when registered by February 1 for the 5K and 10K; the Kids Super Hero Fun Run does not include a shirt.
Registration fees are tiered by date. Listed fees at the time of posting:
- 5K: $35 through Oct 31, $40 through Jan 31, $45 on race day.
- 10K: $45 through Oct 31, $50 through Jan 31, $55 on race day.
- Kids Super Hero Fun Run: $10, no shirt provided.
Packet pickup is available during advanced check-in on Friday at Pace Yourself Run Company and on race morning at Apex Town Hall; online registration remains available until the race start. The event awards the top three male and female overall finishers and first male and female finishers in age divisions: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Course maps are provided for the 10K and a Kids Run map is forthcoming. A virtual race app option is available to use phone GPS to track and submit verified times.
