Event overview
Run the Peak takes place on March 7, 2026, in Apex, NC, with Apex Town Hall listed as the event location. The event supports the Apex Chamber of Commerce. An interactive fair with local health and fitness providers will be part of the event. The route passes through Historic Apex. Online registration remains open until the race start. Registration by February 1 guarantees a 5K/10K t-shirt and medal.

Entry fees (by registration period): 5K - $35 through Oct 31, $40 through Jan 31, $45 on Race Day. 10K - $45 through Oct 31, $50 through Jan 31, $55 on Race Day. Kids Super Hero Fun Run - $10 (no shirt provided).
Packet pickup and check-in options include an advanced pickup at Pace Yourself Run Company (242 S Main St Suite 102, Holly Springs) and race morning check-in at Apex Town Hall. Participants may pick up for a friend or have a bib/shirt picked up for them. A 10K course map is provided and a Kids Super Hero Fun Run map is listed as coming soon. A virtual race app is available to track the race using phone GPS and to upload verified times automatically.
Awards
Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers. Age-division awards are given to first male and female finishers in these groups: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
