Event summary
Run the Peak is a community road race held in Apex, NC, on March 7, 2026 at Apex Town Hall (73 Hunter Street). The event supports the Apex Chamber of Commerce and includes a health and fitness fair with local providers. The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere and a kids Super Hero Fun Run. Registration fees (example tiers): 5K : $35 (thru Oct 31), $40 (thru Jan 31), $45 (race day); 10K : $45 (thru Oct 31), $50 (thru Jan 31), $55 (race day). The Kids Fun Run is free and does not include a shirt. Online registration remains open until the race begins. A virtual option is available using a phone GPS to track and upload a verified time.
Packet pickup and check-in: advanced check-in is Friday, March 6, 4:00-6:30 pm at Pace Yourself Run Company (242 S Main St Suite 102, Holly Springs). Race morning registration and check-in take place at Apex Town Hall; participants may pick up bibs or shirts for others. Awards for the 5K and 10K include overall top three male and female finishers and first male and female in age divisions: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
