About the race
Reindeer Run 5K in Pittsboro, North Carolina, starts and finishes at Central Carolina Community College. The course winds through the college campus and into historic downtown Pittsboro, then returns to the campus, offering a USATF-sanctioned 5K for serious runners alongside a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. A Rudolph’s Fun Run (three-quarters of a mile) stays on the CCCC campus for younger participants.
The event offers Individual 5K, Team 5K, School Team 5K, Rudolph’s Fun Run, and Virtual 5K options. Proceeds fund the Physical Activity Grant for Chatham County, supporting healthy activities for families; awards cover individual and team categories.
