Run The Parkway 2026
Run The Parkway is the official training run for the 2026 California International Marathon. It takes place on the American River Parkway in Sacramento, California, and is organized by the Sacramento Running Association. The event includes aid stations and pace team members that will mirror CIM race day and is presented as an opportunity for a final official long run before the marathon. Proceeds support the American River Parkway.
Distances offered include:
- 20 mile
- Half Marathon
- Untimed Nature Walk (up to approximately 4 miles)
Registration fees are listed as $76.88 for the Run The Parkway official CIM "Tune up" entry, inclusive of mandatory charges, and $23.39 for the Untimed Nature Walk; a youth discount is applied at checkout for the walk. Participants who registered for Run The Parkway through CIM or Urban Cow registration will receive additional instructions from the organizer.
