Run the Mission: Race to End Tuberculosis - 5K Run
The Volunteer Services Council of TCID organizes a 5K road race on October 17, 2026 at Greenline Park at Brooks, 2532 Sidney Brooks, San Antonio, TX 78235. The VSC mission is to improve quality of life for patients with Tuberculosis and Hansen's disease and to support staff through diverse partnerships, advocacy initiatives, and community resource coordination.
Registration opens October 20, 2025. Entry fees vary by date: June 1 to July 12 $25, July 13 to September 14 $30, September 15 to October 15 $35, and October 16 and day of race $40. Event shirts are limited; registration by October 15 guarantees a shirt.
Early packet pick-up begins October 16, 2026 at a location to be determined. Packets and registration will also be available on race morning. The race will be professionally timed and scored by RaceTimerz LLC using reusable RFID shoe tags. Participants should wear their bibs pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered. Results will be available at a result kiosk at the race and online at RaceTimerz.
Awards for the 5K are based on chip time and include Top Overall Male and Female and top Male and Female in age groups 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
