About the race
Run the Mission: Race to End Tuberculosis is a community 5K run held on October 17, 2026 at Greenline Park at Brooks in San Antonio, Texas. The event is organized by the Volunteer Services Council of TCID, whose mission is to improve quality of life for patients with Tuberculosis and Hansen's disease and to support staff through partnerships, advocacy initiatives, and connections to community resources. Entry fees are tiered by date: 6/1 - 7/12 $25, 7/13 - 9/14 $30, 9/15 - 10/15 $35, and 10/16 and day of race $40 cash. Early packet pickup is scheduled for October 15, 2026 at Fleet Feet, 7322 Jones Maltsberger Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
Packets and registration will also be available on race morning. The 5K will be professionally timed and scored by RaceTimerz, LLC using reusable RFID shoe tags. Participants are asked to wear their bib on the front, pinned at all four corners, visible and unaltered. Results will be available at an on-site results kiosk and online through the timing company. Awards for the 5K are planned based on chip time in categories including Top Overall Male and Female, and Top Male and Female in age groups 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
