Run the Mission: Race to End Tuberculosis
Run the Mission is a community event organized by the Volunteer Services Council of TCID to support patients with Tuberculosis and Hansen's disease and the staff who serve them. It takes place in San Antonio, TX on October 17, 2026 at 2532 Sidney Brooks.
The event includes multiple course options:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Entry fees vary by registration date: $35 for early registration, $40 for the mid period, and $45 on race day. Online registration closes October 16 at 11:59 PM; in-person registration is available on the day of the event. Event shirts are limited and registration by September 27 guarantees a shirt.
The 5K run is professionally timed and scored by RaceTimerz, LLC using reusable RFID shoe tags. Runners should wear their bib visible on the front, pinned at all four corners. Results are available at the event result kiosk and online. Awards for 5K runners are given to top overall male and female and to top male and female in the following age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Awards are based on chip time. Walkers are not eligible for runner awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
