Run the Course 5K at Mission Resort + Club
Run the Course 5K takes place at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The event uses the fairways and grounds of the historic El Campeon golf course and features notable elevation changes and undulating terrain through oak-lined vistas and resort landscaping.

- 3.1 Miles virtual with option to pick up items in person or have them shipped
Race entry includes a custom finisher’s medal, an official race shirt, professional timing for in-person participants, and post-race breakfast sandwiches, water, and a cold brew option for participants 21 and over. A Two Course Challenge connects this spring race with a Labor Day Weekend event called Run the Resort; completing both yields two connectable medals and a 10 percent discount when both races are registered together.
Packet pick-up is handled at the resort clubhouse prior to race day and on race morning at the Club House area. Strollers are permitted with a request that stroller runners start toward the back. Pets are not permitted on the course; service animals are allowed with advance notice. Awards are presented by category, including overall and age-group placements for male and female finishers.
