Run Sunset Beach
Run Sunset Beach is a multi-distance road race held in Sunset Beach, North Carolina with the start and finish located at the waterfront park near 206 Sunset Blvd N. The event takes place on island and mainland roads and includes USATF certified courses.

Course notes and support: the routes cross the intracoastal waterway bridge onto the island and return to the waterfront park. The half marathon circumnavigates the island and covers portions of the mainland. Course services include water stops, a SAG truck, over 100 volunteers, directional signage and mile markers, and multiple portable toilets along the route.
Logistics and race weekend: there is a local packet pickup the day before the race at a nearby location, and organizers provide parking assistance and a shuttle from a large lot near Ingram Planetarium. Finishers receive a medal and most in-person entries include a shirt except the 1 mile where the shirt is an optional add on. Post race provisions include fruit, Gatorade and pizza along with onsite food and a single beer ticket per bib.
Policies and timing: the courses are USATF certified, dogs and bicycles are not allowed on course, minors need guardian consent and registration policies include no refunds.
