Run Sunset Beach (April 10, 2027)
Run Sunset Beach is the 14th annual event in the BAM Race Series, held in Sunset Beach, North Carolina at 206 Sunset Blvd N, Sunset Beach 28468. The event day includes multiple in-person race distances and virtual options.
The program features these race distances:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles, in-person and virtual entries available
- 10K - 6.2 Miles, in-person and virtual entries available
- 5K - 3.1 Miles, in-person and virtual entries available
- 1 Mile - 1 Mile, in-person
Registration information and fees are provided for each distance. Fees listed include Half Marathon $65, 10K $42, 5K $30, and 1 Mile $20. Registration open and close dates are specified by the organizer for the registration period.
The setting is a coastal island with a waterfront park, shaded golf course communities, a bridge over the intracoastal waterway, and oceanfront views. Average temperatures for the typical April period are noted as a high of 67 and a low of 59.
Finisher items are part of the event. Organizers have used a variety of medal designs in past years. For the 1 Mile entry, the fee includes a 1 Mile medal and race bib; a race shirt is available for purchase. Medals and race shirts are provided to finishers only.
