ShamRock N' Run : North Myrtle Beach
ShamRock N' Run is a race event in North Myrtle Beach on March 20, 2027. It offers three certified road race distances that share the same start and finish lines on Main Street and run along Ocean Boulevard with ocean views and a largely flat course.
Distances
- Half Marathon (certified course; ocean views; 6" guitar-pick finisher medal)
- 10K (certified course; flat and fast; 5" finisher medal with spinning pot of gold)
- 5K (scenic course; water stop just over halfway; 4" finisher medal with spinning base drum)
On-course features include music at every mile with bag pipers, drummers, bands and DJs, plus DJs, cheerleaders and other entertainment. All participants receive a tri-blend unisex participant shirt at packet pickup. The event finishes with an after party featuring a beer garden and Carolina BBQ; race bibs include tickets for both beer and BBQ.
Packet pickup is the day before the race at J. Bryan Floyd Community Center, 1030 Possum Trot Rd, North Myrtle Beach, SC. A virtual option is available; virtual participants receive mailed swag within two weeks after the race and may transfer to virtual up to seven days before the event for a processing fee.
Awards are offered in Overall, Masters and five-year age groups. Road closures and partial closures affect Main Street and Ocean Boulevard on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
