ShamRock N’ Run : North Myrtle Beach
ShamRock N’ Run is a road race event held in North Myrtle Beach on March 20, 2027. The event offers three certified distances that start and finish on Main Street and include stretches along Ocean Boulevard.
- Half Marathon : $82 registration
- 10K : $47 registration
- 5K : $42 registration
Courses are described as flat and scenic with ocean and beach views along Ocean Boulevard and portions of Main Street. The half marathon follows a course with several miles of ocean views and certified road segments. On-course entertainment is provided at frequent locations, with live music and performers reported at each mile, including bag pipers, drummers, bands, and DJs. A photographer is present at the finish area and medals are distributed at the finish corral; the corral is not re-enterable.
All participants receive a tri-blend unisex participant shirt at packet pickup. Finisher medals are custom pieces with spinning elements: a 6" half marathon guitar pick, a 5" 10K guitar pick, and a 4" 5K guitar pick, each with themed details.
Packet pickup occurs the Friday before race day at J. Bryan Floyd Community Center, 1030 Possum Trot Rd, North Myrtle Beach, SC. Awards include overall, masters, and 5-year age group categories for each distance. A virtual option is available; virtual participants receive mailed swag within two weeks of the event. Parking is available in two designated lots near Main Street; some streets will be closed or partially closed on race morning. Volunteer roles are available, with options to designate a nonprofit for a donation or receive a complimentary registration for other events.
