About the race
ShamRock N' Run in North Myrtle Beach takes place on March 20, 2027 and offers three certified, flat road race distances that run through Main Street and Ocean Boulevard with ocean views.

All races share the same start and finish area on Main Street and include on-course entertainment. The event provides live music at every mile with bag pipers, drummers, bands and DJs, plus additional course support such as DJs and cheer squads. The course descriptions note stretches with ocean and neighborhood views and minimal elevation change.
All finishers receive custom themed medals: a six inch half marathon guitar pick with a spinning guitar arm, a five inch 10K guitar pick with a spinning pot of gold, and a four inch 5K guitar pick with a spinning base drum. Participants get a tri-blend unisex race shirt available at packet pickup. Packet pickup is mandatory and is held at J. Bryan Floyd Community Center in North Myrtle Beach the day before the race.
A post-race after party includes a beer garden, Carolina BBQ and on-site music. There is a virtual option that ships race swag within about two weeks; virtual registration and transfers follow stated deadlines and a processing fee may apply. RaceJoy tracking is enabled for the half marathon only. Road closures and partial closures occur on race morning so extra travel time is recommended.
