About the race
Riccobene Winter Run takes place in North Myrtle Beach with in-person and virtual options. The event is scheduled for January 16, 2027, with packet pick-up on January 15 at J. Bryan Floyd Community Center, 1030 Possum Trot Road, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. The race start and finish are located on Main Street in downtown North Myrtle Beach.
Available distances include:
- 5K
- 15K
The 15K and 5K courses are certified (15K SC22006BDS, 5K SC22005BDS). Course support includes four water stops on the 15K and one water stop on the 5K; all water stops provide water and Gatorade. Directional signage, a lead biker, and mile markers are provided along both courses. Timing is managed by a professional timing company; overall awards are based on gun time and age group awards are based on chip time.
Awards include top three overall and masters trophies for male and female, plus age group awards for top three male and female in five-year increments for both distances. The event offers a virtual option with mailed swag items within two weeks after the race for registered virtual participants. Registration fees listed are $40 for the 5K and $55 for the 15K; prices increase in 15 days. Parking is available in designated lots within two blocks of the start; participants are advised to allow extra time for arrival.
