Run Scared in Seward Park, Seattle

Run Scared is an annual Halloween-themed running and walking event held in Seward Park, Seattle. The event raises funds for Blood Cancer United (formerly The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) and is presented as the 18th edition. Registration includes a long sleeve cotton race shirt, a sticker, a pumpkin cookie and a surprise finisher's item. A virtual participation option is available.

Organizers provide an environmental "Trees not Tees" alternative where shirt costs are donated to a tree planting organization; participants who select this receive a certificate, GPS coordinates and a photo of the planted tree. Packet pickup takes place at West Seattle Runner (2743 California Ave SW, Seattle, WA) on the day before the main event. The main event location is 5895 Lake Washington Blvd S, Seattle, WA 98118.
