Event Overview

Run Scared is an 18th annual Halloween-themed run and walk event in Seward Park, Seattle. The event benefits Blood Cancer United. There is a virtual participation option.

Registration and Benefits

Standard registration includes a long sleeve cotton race shirt, a sticker, a pumpkin cookie, a surprise finisher's item, and other Halloween treats. There is also a free kids dash for participants aged 16 and under. An optional "Trees not Tees" environmental choice allows participants to forgo the shirt; the cost is donated to an organization that plants a tree and provides a certificate, GPS coordinates, and a photo of the tree.

Schedule and Location

The main event is on October 25, 2026. Packet pickup is available on October 24 at West Seattle Runner on California Avenue SW and on the event day at the venue.
