About the race
The Halloween Trick or Trot Run takes place at Golden Gardens Park in Seattle on October 31, 2026. The event offers multiple distance options and a smaller, wave-based field with a cap per wave; waves may sell out and a wait list or virtual option is available.

The event welcomes participants of all paces and ages (under 18 requires a guardian). Running and walking are both supported. Timing is optional; there are no timing chips. Participants may track time with a personal app and submit results for posting, or ask coordinators for timing assistance.
Swag is shipped to registered US mailing addresses and race bibs are provided on race day. Typical swag items include a running T-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade for an additional $5. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided. Race updates and course maps are distributed by email before the event.
A virtual run option includes a digital training pack and the ability to submit results to receive a medal. Fundraising is optional and miles logged after the race may support partner charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
