Captain Jack’s Treasure Run : Redmond, WA
Captain Jack’s Treasure Run is a themed road running event on the Sammamish River Trail in Redmond, WA. The event offers multiple out-and-back distances that start and finish at the same downtown location near 15670 NE 85th St.

The 8K and 12K courses head north from the start; the 5K heads south. The 12K route has two aid stations, each passed twice. The 8K has one aid station passed twice. The 5K has no aid station. Aid stations are stocked with GU gels and electrolyte drink options. Orca Running runs this event cupless, so participants are asked to bring a handheld, hydration pack, or a small reusable folding cup.
All participants receive a finisher’s medal; adults receive a Captain Jack’s race shirt (kids excluded). Overall awards are given to the top three male, female and non-binary finishers by gun time, and age group awards are given in five-year increments. Awards must be picked up on race day. Packet pickup is available on the morning of the event and the day before at Road Runner Sports Bellevue; there is also a bib-mail option for an additional fee. The event benefits the Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund. Parking options are available in downtown Redmond, including a large parking garage at 8711 160th Ave NE.
