Rockaway Beach Father's Day Half Marathon and 5K
The Rockaway Track Club holds a running event on June 20, 2026 at Beach 94th Street on the Boardwalk in Rockaway Beach, NY. The event comprises two distances:
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- 3.1 miles 5K
Both races start and finish on Beach 94th Street on the Boardwalk. The half marathon uses a two-loop course: from Beach 94th west, a U-turn at Beach 124th Street east to 54th Street, then back to Beach 94th Street and repeat. The 5K is an out-and-back course from Beach 94th west to Beach 124th Street and back to the finish on Beach 94th Street. Both the half marathon and the 5K are USATF certified courses.
Aid and amenities noted by the organizer include at least four water stops on each loop of the half marathon and availability of water and Gatorade at multiple locations. Participants receive a T-shirt and a medal. Public parking is available in the lot on Beach 94th Street.
Registration opens on September 2, 2025 and closes on March 12, 2026. Registered entry fees listed by the organizer are $65.00 for the half marathon and $45.00 for the 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
