Event Overview
Run. Ride. Relief. is a community sports event sponsored by the MillerKnoll Foundation held in Holland, Michigan. Based at Marigold Lodge on Pine Walk, the event includes activities for running, walking, cycling, and wheelchair participants. Proceeds support the MillerKnoll Global Associate Relief Fund to assist individuals facing financial hardships or disasters.
Course Details
The event features various routes that utilize the scenic landscape of West Michigan. The 5K Run/Walk/Roll follows a path through neighborhood woods and offers views of Lake Macatawa. The 1 Mile Fun Run is an out-and-back course designed for families and children. For cyclists, the 40k Bike Ride (approximately 25 miles) explores the shoreline of Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan, primarily using the shoulders of Ottawa Beach Road and Lakeshore Drive.
Participation Options
Participants can choose from the following event categories:
- 5K Run/Walk/Roll: A 3.1-mile neighborhood route open to all ages and abilities.
- 1 Mile Fun Run: A short course for children and parents starting from Marigold Lodge.
- 40k Bike Ride: A scenic coastal cycling route towards Lake Michigan.
- Virtual Event: An option for participants to complete their chosen distance remotely at any location.
