Run on the Runway - Moraine, OH
Run on the Runway is scheduled for October 18, 2026 at Moraine Airpark, a public use, privately owned airport in Moraine, OH. The event features a 5K course that runs the length of the runway, uses portions of the taxiway, passes through Wax Park, and continues into the neighborhood adjacent to the airport.
Registration for the 5K is listed at $35. A race shirt is included for registrations completed by October 7, 2026. Packet pick up details are to be determined. Race awards and the post race schedule are listed as TBA.
Parking is available at Moraine Airpark and signs will direct participants and visitors to the designated parking area. The airpark hosts community activities and allows visitors to observe aircraft operations from patio and pavilion areas. Local aviation groups are active at the field.
Results will be posted after participants finish. The event’s cancellation policy notes that organizers or public safety officials may reschedule, cancel, or convert the event to a virtual 5K for reasons such as foul weather or public safety concerns.
