Run on the Runway
Run on the Runway is scheduled for October 18, 2026 at Moraine Airpark in Moraine, Ohio. The event features a 5K course that uses the length of the runway, portions of the taxiway, part of Wax Park, and the neighborhood adjacent to the airport.
Registration is listed at $35 and a race shirt is included for entries registered by October 7. Packet pick up details are listed as TBD and race day registration is available. Race awards and post race details are also listed as TBA.
Parking is available at Moraine Airpark and signs will direct attendees to the parking area. The airpark address is 3800 Clearview Rd, Dayton, OH 45439. The airport hosts community activities and has an active local pilot community that includes an EAA chapter and a flight school.
Results will be posted for participants on race day and there is an option to have results posted automatically via a connected Twitter account. In case of foul weather, public safety concerns, or other reasons deemed necessary by organizers or timing staff, the event may be rescheduled, canceled, or converted to a virtual 5K.
