Run on Round Lake 5K & Youth 1 Mile : overview
The Run on Round Lake 5K & Youth 1 Mile is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Mount Dora, FL at Round Lake Charter School (31333 Round Lake Rd). The event is an evening run and includes two distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Youth 1 mile (open to ages 10 and under)
Proceeds benefit the Round Lake Charter (RLC) athletic department.
Event details
The course starts on the RLC campus, uses Round Lake Road (road will be closed), continues on the RLC cross country course (sand, dirt and grass), and finishes back at the start. The event is chip timed with disposable chips attached to the back of each bib; bibs are required. Awards include overall top male and female and age-group awards for male and female in standard age brackets. The first 175 registered entries will receive a finisher medal.
Registration fee tiers and benefits:
- Early registration (June 1 through Sept 30): $25, guaranteed T-shirt and finisher medal.
- Oct 1 through Oct 24: $30, guaranteed T-shirt; first 175 receive medals.
- Oct 25 through race day: $35, T-shirt not guaranteed.
Packet pick-up occurs the day before and on race day. Parking is available on the RLC campus and the adjacent Real Life Church campus. The event is rain or shine. Pets are not allowed; strollers are permitted. A water station will be on the course and near the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
