Run Oak Island is a two-day road race weekend offering multiple distances on Oak Island, North Carolina. The event features in-person and virtual options, participant shirts for most distances, and finisher medals for all finishers except the 1 mile unless the shirt or packet is purchased separately.

Course notes describe flat, oceanfront and marsh scenery, a country club and arboretum section, and an intracoastal bridge with about 65 feet of elevation on the West half course. Several race courses are USATF certified; the 1 mile is not certified or timed. Course support includes multiple water stops (13 on the full marathon, 7 on the half marathon, 2 on the 10K, 1 on the 5K), mile markers, volunteers, and paid timing with chip results.
The event offers combo options including a 2-day combo with an additional large 3D medal and a Sunday 3-race challenge totaling about 10.3 miles with separate medals for each race.
