Run Now, Wine Later 5K : Montrose, PA
The Run Now, Wine Later 5K is scheduled for May 16, 2026 in Montrose, Pennsylvania. The event is presented as the 2nd annual edition and combines a scenic, timed 5K through the streets of Montrose with a post-race Wine Walk Festival. Proceeds from the race and festival benefit the United Way of Susquehanna County.
Three registration options are offered: 5K Only, 5K with General Admission Festival Access, and 5K with VIP Festival Access. General Admission and VIP festival entries are limited to attendees aged 21 and over. Runners who pre-register by April 23, 2026 at 11:59pm will receive an event shirt; later registrants may not receive race swag.
The Wine Walk Festival features local wineries and businesses sampling wines, live music, and a variety of food options. VIP admission includes early festival access from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM and a wine tumbler, while General Admission begins at 1:00 PM and includes a tasting glass. A valid ID is required for over-21 wristbands and tasting glasses.
Awards include medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group and prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers. Packet pickup for pre-registered participants is available at the United Way office at 67 Public Ave, Montrose on the two days before the race and at the starting area on race day.
