Run Now, Wine Later 5K
The event is the second annual Run Now, Wine Later 5K, a timed 3.1 Miles run through the streets of Montrose, Pennsylvania. The race and accompanying Wine Walk Festival raise funds for the United Way of Susquehanna County. Participants can register for race only, race plus general festival access, or race plus VIP festival access; festival access options are for guests 21 and over.
The Wine Walk Festival includes wine sampling from local wineries and businesses, live music, and a variety of food options. VIP admission provides early festival entry and a wine tumbler, while general admission includes a tasting glass and begins later in the day. A valid ID is required for over 21 wristbands and tasting glasses. Additional festival tickets are available in advance.
Registration fees vary by package and by registration period. Race day registration is available for an increased cash fee. Packet pickup for pre‑registered participants is at the United Way office, 67 Public Ave., Montrose, with additional pickup opportunities in the days before the event and a race day packet table at the starting area.
Awards include medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group (0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) and prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
