Run Northumberland Hexham 5k 2026

Run Northumberland Hexham 5k is a road race taking place in Hexham on 19 July 2026. The event covers a single 5K distance on a largely flat course that starts on the outskirts of Hexham, follows closed roads toward Corbridge, and returns along Corchester Lane. Registration and the finish are located at Tyne Green.

The course is traffic free under full road closures and uses road surfaces. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport; race positions are determined by gun time while chip times are available for personal reference. Distance markers are placed every kilometre and there is a water station at the finish.

Event facilities at Race HQ on Tyne Green include registration, bag drop, toilets and refreshments. There will be street food, entertainment and music on Tyne Green after the race. Parking is available at Wentworth Car Park (disc parking). First aid cover is provided.

Entry is open to participants aged 11 and over. Entry fees are listed as £13 for affiliated runners and £15 for unaffiliated runners. Entries are limited to 200 and close on 15 July 2026.
