The Run Northumberland Hexham 5k is a road race held in Hexham on 19 July 2026. Race HQ and registration are based at Tyne Green, with the finish reported at Tyne Mills Industrial Estate. The event address is on Anick Road, Hexham NE46 4JS.
This is a 5K event on a largely flat, traffic free road course. The route starts on the outskirts of Hexham on closed roads toward Corbridge and returns along the largely flat Corchester Lane. Distance markers are placed every kilometre.
Event services include chip timing provided by Timing4Sport, bag drop and toilets at Race HQ, changing facilities, first aid and water at the finish. Parking is available at Wentworth Car Park with disc parking. Tyne Green will also feature refreshments, street food, entertainment and music.
Entry details include a minimum age of 11, an entries limit of 200 and entry fees from £13 for affiliated runners and £15 for unaffiliated runners. Entries close on 15 July 2026 and places on the day are not guaranteed. Finishers receive a medal and individual prizes are awarded to the top three men and top three women.
