Run Northumberland Hexham 5k - 19 July 2026
Run Northumberland Hexham 5k is a traffic-free road race held around Hexham. The course begins on the outskirts of Hexham on closed roads toward Corbridge and returns along the largely flat Corchester Lane. Registration and the finish are both on Tyne Green, with Race HQ located at Tyne Green and the finish at Tyne Mills Industrial Estate.
The event distance is 5K on a road surface and is described as flat. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport and distance markers are placed every kilometre. Full road closures are in place for the race. The minimum age to enter is 11 and entries are limited to 200 participants. Entries close on 15th July 2026. Entry fees are £13 for affiliated runners and £15 for unaffiliated runners.
Race day facilities include a bag drop and toilets at Race HQ, changing facilities, Wentworth Car Park for parking (disc parking), first aid provision, water stations at the finish, and refreshments, street food, entertainment and music on Tyne Green.
