Run Northumberland Coquet 10k 2026
Run Northumberland Coquet 10k is a road race that starts and finishes in Rothbury and follows roads through the Coquet Valley. The course is hilly, which increases views along the route, and the distance is 10 km on a traffic free surface.
The route is an accurately measured course with chip timing provided by Timing4Sport. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and there is an optional race T shirt available for an extra cost. Distance markers appear every 1 km and a water station is located at 5 km.
Event facilities include race headquarters and registration at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School in Rothbury, bag drop at registration, toilets at registration and the finish, and changing facilities. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or the car park near the finish. First aid and refreshments are provided.
Entry is limited to 500 runners. Entry fees are £23 for affiliated entrants and £25 for unaffiliated entrants. Entries close on 30th June 2026. The minimum age to enter is 15. Prizes include a finisher medal, individual trophies and vouchers for the first three male and female overall, and team prizes for UKA affiliated clubs.
