Run Northumberland Coquet 10K : Rothbury
Run Nation's Coquet 10K is a road race held on 5 July 2026 that starts and finishes in Rothbury and follows roads up and down the Coquet Valley. The course is accurately measured, traffic free and described as hilly, with distance markers every 1 km and a water station at 5 km.
The event uses chip timing provided by Timing4Sport; race numbers include a foam strip with the chip underneath. Official results and finishing positions are based on gun time; chip times are provided for personal use. Race numbers must be worn visibly on the front of the running top for timing to be recorded.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal and an optional race T-shirt is available at extra cost. Individual prizes are awarded for the first three men and women overall, and team prizes are awarded to first male and first female UKA affiliated clubs; club vests must be worn for team results to count. A voucher and trophy are included with top prizes.
Event facilities listed for race day include a race HQ at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School (5 Tollgate Rd, Rothbury NE65 7RD), registration with bag drop and toilets, parking at Auction Mart or nearby car park, and first aid. Minimum age to enter is 15. Entries are limited to 500 and the published entry fees are £23 for affiliated and £25 for unaffiliated participants; entries close on 30 June 2026.
