Wild Hybrid Northumberland : Druridge Bay Country Park Solos
The event takes place on 27 June 2026 at Druridge Bay Country Park, Red Row, Morpeth, NE61 5BX. The Northumberland coast provides the setting for running around the park lake and along the beach.
Competitors in the Hybrid event complete lake laps of around 1 km and then run a final 5 km section on the beach. Functional exercise stations are located on the grass overlooking the lake.
Distances:
- Hybrid: 1 km lake laps and a final 5 km on the beach
- 5 km Ruck Run with a required pack
- 10 km Ruck Run with a required pack
Ruck Run entries require participants to carry their own pack; weights are 10 kg for men and 7 kg for women. Packs will be weighed at registration. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North.
All finishers receive event merchandise and products supplied by sponsors. Prizes are awarded for first to third positions in each category. Entry fees range from £25 to £60 depending on the event. Parking is available for £5 for the day. Photography from the event can be purchased from the event partners after the race. Routes are to be confirmed.
