Run Media City 5k & 10k

Run Media City takes place at Media City Piazza in Salford and offers two measured distances. The route starts and finishes in the Media City Piazza and follows a flat 2.5 km loop through Media City UK, crossing the Millennium Bridge, passing the Imperial War Museum and running alongside the television studios. The course uses tarmac and paved paths and is clearly signed with marshals on course.

Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a bag drop. An event village provides food and drink options and free partner goodies at the finish. Race pack collection is available on the day from the event village; a booking confirmation and photo ID are required. A secure marquee is provided for baggage and portable toilets are available in the event village and can be accessed during the laps. Water stations are located at approximately 2.5, 4.5, 6.5, 9.5 and 12 miles and are passed on each lap. There is a two hour cut off for the event. Minimum ages are 15 for the 10 km and 11 for the 5 km. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
