Run Malibu stages a race weekend with multiple distances along the Pacific Coast in Malibu, California. The event includes a half marathon, a 5K hosted at California State University Channel Islands, a kids run, and a combo challenge that pairs the half marathon with the 5K. The half marathon course begins on the CSU Channel Islands campus, weaves through the Santa Monica Mountains, and reaches the Pacific Coast Highway where the ocean runs alongside the route. Runners continue south toward Thornhill Broome Beach and finish just north of Mugu Rock. The 5K takes place on the CSU campus with an emphasis on a smooth surface and a fast layout.
The event includes a race expo and packet pickup. It also supports the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu; $10 of every entry is allocated to the organization and certain VIP and donation options direct additional funds to the charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
