Run Malibu takes place on November 8, 2026, in Malibu, California. The event offers multiple race options across a weekend focused on running, wellness, and community.

The half marathon course begins on the California State University Channel Islands campus, continues through the Santa Monica Mountains, reaches the Pacific Coast Highway with ocean views, proceeds south toward Thornhill Broome Beach, and finishes just north of Mugu Rock. The CSU Dolphin 5K uses a campus-based course described as smooth and fast. A kids run is offered as a separate short-distance event. A combo challenge pairs the 5K and half marathon for combined participation and medals.

All participants receive a 2026 race shirt and a finisher medal. The combo challenge awards three medals for completing both distances. A VIP Charity 13.1 miles option designates $75 of the VIP entry to the Boys and Girls Club of Malibu. Additionally, $10 of every entry is directed to the Boys and Girls Club of Malibu, an organization that provides youth programs, mentorship, mental health support, and disaster relief services in the local community.
