Run Mahomet : Mahomet Area Youth Club
Run Mahomet is an annual race weekend held in Mahomet that raises funds for the Mahomet Area Youth Club (MAYC). The event includes multiple in-person road races and virtual options. Proceeds support summer and after-school programming, MAYC Teens, and services for local youth ages 6 to 18.

The 5K and half marathon courses are USATF certified. Chip timing is provided for in-person runners. The course is described as primarily flat. Virtual runners may submit results during a specified post-race window; virtual entrants are not eligible for awards or official timed results.
In-person awards are given for the top three male and female finishers overall and for top three male and female finishers in designated age groups for each distance. Age-group categories vary by race and include junior and senior brackets. Registered runners are guaranteed technical t-shirts if registered by July 15. Packet pickup options include a drive-through pickup (details TBD), local pickup encouraged the day before the races, onsite race-morning pickup at Mahomet-Seymour High School, and mailing for virtual runners for an additional fee.
