Run Mahomet - Mahomet, IL
Run Mahomet takes place Friday July 31 to Saturday August 1, 2026, in Mahomet, Illinois, with the primary location at Mahomet-Seymour High School, 302 W. State St., Mahomet, IL 61853. The event marks the 30th year of the race and serves as a fundraiser for the Mahomet Area Youth Club (MAYC).

- Main Street Mile (Friday)
- 5K in-person and virtual
- 10K in-person and virtual
- Half Marathon in-person and virtual
The 5K, 10K, and half-marathon courses are USATF certified. Chip timing for in-person runners is provided by It’s Race Time, Inc. The course is described as primarily flat. Half-marathon participants must be 12 years of age or older. Families with strollers may participate in the 5K; runners should be aware of varying speeds in the finish chute.
Awards for in-person runners include top three male and female overall and top three male and female in specified age groups for each distance. Prize money may be available depending on pre-race donations. Technical T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered by July 20.
Virtual runners may run any time during the week before the in-person race date, are not eligible for awards, will not be included in official timed results but may submit times for final rankings, and will receive finisher medals and shirts by mail.
