Run Houston at the University of Houston takes place on September 19, 2026, on the University of Houston campus with the start/finish at 4235 Cullen Blvd, Houston, TX 77204. The event is part of the Run Houston Race Series and serves as the first race in the Fall Haul Challenge.

The race is chip timed. All runners receive a finisher medal. Participant gear options include a runner's choice unisex event shirt or upgrades to a women’s cut tank top or the valor blue style. Packet pickup is available before race day at DICK's Sporting Goods, 2131 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056, and event-morning pickup is offered with expectant wait times. Virtual participants receive mailed gear; mailed packages typically arrive 7 to 10 days after the live event.
Course support includes water at all water stations. There is no gear check on site. Strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only, and a parent or guardian must sign for a child in a stroller. Dogs are not permitted. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall for the 5K, 10K and Kids K.
