Event overview
The Run High Bridge 5k is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Rice, Virginia. The event begins at the Camp Paradise entrance of High Bridge Trail State Park and follows an out-and-back course across High Bridge. Proceeds support scholarships for Cumberland County School graduates and grants to teachers, presented by the Cumberland Education Foundation. Timing and scoring will be provided by Riverside Runners.
Registration and logistics
Registration fees:
- $25 through February 19
- $30 February 20 to March 12
- $35 at packet pickup and on race day
A Family & Friends discount of $2.00 off per entry is available when four or more entrants register together through March 1. Registration remains open on race day; there is no paper registration. Participants who register by February 23 are guaranteed an event t-shirt; extras may be available at packet pickup on a first-come basis.
Packet pickup is offered offsite at the Southside Virginia Family YMCA (580 Commerce Road, Farmville) and on-site at High Bridge Station (1466 Camp Paradise Road, Rice). Start/finish are at Aspen Hill Road (Rt. 601), Rice. Parking at the race site has a $5.00 fee. Strollers are allowed with conditions; pets are not permitted.
Awards
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, top Masters (40+ male and female), and the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 & under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+.
