Run Gatwick Half Marathon & 5k November 2027
Run Gatwick takes place on 21 November 2027 at Southgate Park in Crawley. The event offers a Half Marathon, a 5K, and a Family Run, with chip timing and an event village at Southgate Park.
The course is a single loop that starts in central Crawley along The Boulevard, heads north towards the village of Charlwood, passes directly beneath Gatwick Airport flight paths, then runs south through Manor Royal before returning to Crawley town centre and finishing on the High Street. Each kilometre on the half marathon is marked and marshals provide directional support and encouragement along the route.
Included with entry are a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post race goodies, and a bag drop. Water stations for the half marathon are located at approximately 3, 6.5 and 10.3 miles and at the finish. The 5K and Family Run do not pass water stations on course except at the finish. Portable toilets are provided at Southgate Park and at the three half marathon water stations.
Practical details: the event village opens at 07:30 and race packs are collected there; participants will receive a baggage tag for secure storage. The half marathon has a 3 hour cut off. Minimum ages are 17 for the half marathon and 11 for the 5K. There is limited onsite parking for organisers and suppliers; local car parks are nearby. The event supports The Brain Tumour Charity and features spectator areas, cheer groups and music at pre agreed locations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
