About the race
Box Hill Vertical KM is a guided trail run organized by Running Adventures near Box Hill, Dorking, Surrey. The route covers about 12.5 miles and is designed to deliver roughly 1000 metres of elevation in a compact distance, with no hill-repeats. Runners traverse woodland, heathland, and open fields, with some climbs technical and some requiring scrambling to the summit.
It’s a group, non-competitive experience, aiming for a steady pace of about 6 min/km (10 min/mile) for those with solid endurance. Meet at Stepping Stones Car Park, Box Hill.
