Run from the Sun
Run from the Sun is an annual benefit run held to raise melanoma and other skin cancer awareness since 2015. The event begins and ends at the Mabel Community Center in Mabel, Minnesota.
Distances offered include:
- 5K Run/Walk (3.11 Miles)
- Youth One Mile Run/Walk
Onsite activities include raffles, beverages, games for children, and entertainment for adults. The Lions organization hosts a pancake breakfast prior to the race.
Registration opens May 28, 2026 and closes July 23, 2026. The listed registration fee is $35.00.
