10th Annual Run From Prostate Cancer 5K Walk/Run (TOUR DE 63rd Street)
The event takes place on August 30, 2026 at the South Side YMCA in Chicago, Illinois. It is the 10th annual 5K Walk/Run and welcomes walkers and runners of all paces. The event is presented as an opportunity to meet others and to continue efforts against prostate cancer.
Distances and entry categories:
- Adult 5K Walk/Run, open to adults over 19
- Kids 5K Walk/Run, free for participants 18 and under
- Elite/Pro Women's 5K Run, elite athletes 16 and older
- Elite/Pro Men's 5K Run, elite athletes 16 and older
On-site amenities and programming include a post-race celebration, local vendors including Garden of Earth and a farmers market, arts and crafts and games for youth, and a Health and Wellness Lounge with free prostate antigen screenings (PSA). Participants receive a timed bib, a raffle ticket, and hydration courtesy of Electrolit at check in. The finish features medals and a photo experience. Raffles are organized by Muffy's Lounge and Components. Prize awards for elite runners include first place $1,500 plus dinner for two, second place $500, and third place $250; elite division registration applies.
