Run Forest Run Gosford

Run Forest Run Gosford is the second race in the Run Forest Run Series, held at Gosford Forest Park, Markethill, Co. Armagh BT60 1UG. Gosford Forest Park covers about 240 hectares of woodland and open parkland in gentle rolling drumlin countryside.

The course combines tarmac and forest tracks, passes through dense woodland and runs past Gosford Castle. Distances offered:

• 5K
• 10K

Entry is primarily online; limited on-the-day entries may be available if the event does not sell out, with an additional £5 administration charge. Race packs and bibs are posted to participants; packs are posted on or before 12th November 2026 and bibs should arrive no later than 19th November 2026. Postal options at registration include Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland rates.

Standard entry fees are shown for each distance with an early bird rate available before 11pm on 16th September 2026. Junior rates apply for defined age ranges and reduced early bird pricing is available for juniors. Enthuse registration processing fees apply in addition to the published rates.

Prizes are awarded for first, second and third male and female finishers. Category prizes are decided at the end of the series using five quickest race results; runners completing five of six races receive a commemorative t-shirt and completing all six earns a bonus medal at the Race Finale in Castlewellan on 27th February 2027.

Facilities and rules note a £5 car entrance fee to the park, toilet facilities in the main car park, no showers, no pets, no water station due to the winter timing, and that running shoes are suitable for the mixed terrain. Entry includes a Run Forest Run medal, individual chip timing, race number and complimentary post race refreshments. Results and event photos will be published after the race.
