The Run For Your Life 5k/10k Series - The Outbreak is presented by Run Ohio Races LLC and takes place on 09/27/2026 at Fairborn Community Park, 691 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324. The event features multiple race options and an interactive format that separates participants into roles.

- The Run For Your Life 5k, 3.1 Miles
- 10k, 6.2 Miles
- The Zombie Experience, 6.2 Miles
Participants choose to register as Survivors or Zombies. Survivors wear a flag football belt while running along a paved course that includes clearly marked infected zones. Zombies remain inside designated infected zones to try to capture flags from Survivors. If a Survivor reaches the finish safe zone with all flags intact they are recorded as surviving; losing one or more flags indicates infection but the participant still finishes the event.
The Zombie Experience notes limited zombie slots and includes a T-shirt for zombie registrants. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Course maps will show infected zones and zombies are restricted to those zones to control where interactions occur. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
