About the race
Run for Windsor is a community charity race held on September 19, 2026, in Malden Park. The event supports the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation; funds raised go directly toward enhancing care at the hospital. The race lists a fundraising target of $50,000.

The course runs through open fields, wooded trails and lookout points at Malden Park. The 1 km course is a short loop near the Visitor Centre. The 5 km route travels deeper into the park, passing ponds, wooded areas and scenic viewpoints. Two water stations are available along the 5 km course.
Organizers report volunteer involvement and community participation as core elements: the event tracks more than 500 volunteer hours, credits volunteers with a free T-shirt, a certificate of appreciation and community service hours, and reports over 1,000 participants and support from more than ten sponsors in prior editions.
