Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon & 5K
This event offers two Athletics Canada certified distances along Riverside Drive in Windsor, Ontario, with the start in front of Caesars Windsor and a finish at Festival Plaza on the waterfront.

The course is an out-and-back, timed route alongside the Detroit River. Runners begin with the Detroit skyline to their left, pass the Hiram Walker distillery, run beneath the Ambassador Bridge into historic Sandwich, then return toward the finish on a slight downhill into the festival plaza. Turnaround points feature spectators and music, and runners will encounter others on the opposite side of the road.
Each participant receives a custom Windsor Waterfront T-shirt in their race packet and a 4-inch medal at the finish. Packet pickup is at Walkerville Brewery on September 10, 11 and 12; there is no race day packet pickup. Post-race food and refreshments, including food trucks, are available at Festival Plaza during the awards.
Aid stations are spaced at approximately 2.5 km intervals. Station supplies for the half marathon include water, Skratch Hydration Mix and Skratch Energy Chews; the 5 km has water available. Prizes are awarded to overall male and female finishers and to first place in age-group categories spanning under 20 through 75 and over. Discounted hotel rooms are blocked for the nights of September 11 to 13 within a short walk of the start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
