Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon and 5K

The Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon and 5K take place on September 13, 2026 in Windsor, Ontario, with the event centered on Riverside Drive near Caesars Windsor. Both the half marathon and 5K courses are certified by Athletics Canada and are chip timed.

The route is an out and back along Riverside Drive. The start is in front of Caesars Windsor with the Detroit skyline visible to the left. The course passes waterfront parks, runs under the Ambassador Bridge into historic Sandwich, and includes two music‑filled turnaround points with spectator areas. The final approach descends toward the festival plaza and the finish line.

Participants receive a custom Windsor Waterfront T shirt in their race packet and a 4 inch medal at the finish. Aid stations are located approximately every 2.5 km and provide water and Skratch Labs hydration or fuel as specified. Overall prizes are awarded to the first male and female finishers and age group prizes are awarded by defined categories.

Race packet pickup is at Walkerville Brewery on September 10, 11, and 12 at posted times. Several nearby hotels have group room blocks for the nights of September 11 to 13 with a stated booking deadline of August 20, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
