About the race
The Ground Effects Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon & 5K takes place along Riverside Drive in Windsor, Ontario, starting in front of the Caesars Windsor casino. The event features a flat, out-and-back course that is certified by Athletics Canada, offering both a half marathon and a 5K. Runners enjoy fully closed roads with views of the Detroit skyline, Windsor waterfront parks, and landmarks like the Hiram Walker distillery and the Ambassador Bridge, with lively spectator turnarounds, music, and cheering at key points.
