Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon & 5K
The event takes place on September 13, 2026 in Windsor, Ontario, with the start and finish located near Caesars Windsor at 340 Riverside Drive, East Windsor. Two distances are offered:
- Half Marathon
- 5 km
The course is an out-and-back, timed route certified by Athletics Canada. Runners follow Riverside Drive with waterfront park views, pass the Hiram Walker distillery, run under the Ambassador Bridge into historic Sandwich, and use two music-filled turnarounds where participants can see and cheer fellow runners. The finish heads west toward the waterfront onto a downhill leading to the festival plaza.
There are seven aid stations spaced at approximately 2.5 km intervals. Stations provide water at all locations; selected stations offer Skratch Hydration Mix and Skratch Energy Chews. Each finisher receives a custom 4 inch medal. Post-race food and refreshments are available at Festival Plaza and food trucks will be onsite during the awards ceremony.
Race packet pickup is at Walkerville Brewery on September 10, 11 and 12 with no race day pickup. Bib transfers are available until Friday, September 1 at midnight.
