The Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon & 5km takes place on September 13, 2026 in Windsor, Ontario. The event starts in front of Caesars Windsor casino and hotel and is held along Riverside Drive. Distances offered:

Both courses are timed and certified by Athletics Canada. Race packets include a custom Windsor Waterfront T-shirt and other sponsored items. Bib transfers are available until Friday, September 1. There are no refunds unless the registration insurance purchased during registration is used and approved.
Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back route with Riverside Drive fully closed for the event. Runners will see the Detroit skyline on their left, pass waterfront parks, run under the Ambassador Bridge into Sandwich town, and pass the Hiram Walker distillery. The route includes two music-filled turn-around points and an approximately downhill final approach into the festival plaza and finish area.
There are seven aid stations spaced about 2.5 km apart. Aid stations provide water for all participants; half marathon stations also offer Skratch Hydration Mix and Skratch Energy Chews at specified locations. Finishers receive a custom 4-inch medal. Post-race amenities include food, refreshments, and food trucks at Festival Plaza. Packet pickup is at Walkerville Brewery on the days before the race.
