Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon & 5 km
The event takes place in Windsor, Ontario, along Riverside Drive near Caesars Windsor. It is a timed, out and back course certified by Athletics Canada that runs along the waterfront and offers views of the Detroit skyline. The start is located in front of the casino and the route is closed to traffic for the race.

The course passes the Hiram Walker distillery, runs under the Ambassador Bridge into historic Sandwich, and includes two music filled turnarounds with spectator support. Runners pass each other on opposite sides of the road and finish by veering toward the waterfront into a downhill that leads to the festival plaza entrance.
At the finish participants receive a custom 4 inch medal. Festival Plaza hosts food trucks and refreshments while awards are prepared. Aid stations are placed at roughly 2.5 km intervals and will provide water and Skratch hydration products as specified.
Race packets include a custom Windsor Waterfront T shirt and sponsor items. Packet pickup is at Walkerville Brewery on September 10, 11 and 12 with scheduled windows; there is no race day pickup. Discounted hotel room blocks are available within a short walk of the start for the nights of September 11 to 13 with a reservation deadline listed by the organizers.
