WINDSOR WATERFRONT HALF MARATHON & 5KM
The event on September 13, 2026 in Windsor, Ontario offers two distances:

- 5 km
The start location is in front of Caesars Windsor casino and hotel on Riverside Drive. Both courses are certified by Athletics Canada and are run on a timed, out-and-back route that follows Riverside Drive along the Windsor waterfront. The route passes waterfront parks, the Hiram Walker distillery, runs under the Ambassador Bridge into Sandwich town, and includes two marked turn-around points with spectators and music. Runners finish by veering right toward the waterfront into a downhill that leads to the festival plaza.
Course services, logistics and awards
There are seven aid stations spaced about 2.5 km apart. Aid stations provide water at all locations; Skratch Hydration Mix and Skratch Energy Chews are provided at specified stations for half marathon participants. Each finisher receives a custom 4 inch medal. Event prizing is awarded for male and female overall places in the 5 km and half marathon, and first place by age group in multiple categories from 19 and under to 75+. Race packets include a custom Windsor Waterfront T-shirt and sponsored items. Packet pickup is at Walkerville Brewery on the days before the race. Parking options near the festival plaza include multiple downtown garages and street parking; the festival plaza area will be closed to parking. Bib transfers are available until September 1.
