Seize the Day, Windsor

9th Annual Seize the Day, Windsor is a family-friendly fundraising event by Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario held at Vollmer Culture & Recreation Complex (2121 Laurier Pkwy). Participants choose a 2K Walk or a 6K Run, with proceeds supporting programs and services for people living with epilepsy and their families in Southwestern Ontario. The course runs along flat, accessible park trails with some gravel sections; a splash pad and an accessibility playground are available when weather permits.

The day also features a post-run BBQ and a virtual option for those who can’t attend in person. The event celebrates nine years of community support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
