Seize the Day - Windsor (10th Anniversary)
Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario presents the 10th Annual Seize the Day fundraiser on September 12, 2026 at the Vollmer Culture & Recreation Complex in Windsor, ON. Funds raised support programs and services for people living with epilepsy, their families, and communities across Southwestern Ontario.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. The site includes a pavilion, walking and running trails, an accessible playground, and access to a splash pad weather permitting. Some trails are gravel rather than paved; the terrain is flat and accessible. The WhamBurg food truck will be on site after the run or walk.

- Virtual 5 km run
- Virtual 2.5 km walk
Virtual participants can complete their route through September 19, 2026. In-person participation is free for children under 12; registration fees apply to other participants and may be paid online or at the event. Official Seize the Day shirts will not be provided this year; participants are asked to wear purple or previous event shirts to show support.
