Run for Veterans 2026 – Cross the Line
The Cross the Line Foundation is holding its sixth annual 5K Run for Veterans on November 7, 2026 in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The event uses an out and back 3.1 mile / 5 kilometer course that begins and ends at the Veterans Memorial in Central Park on Atlantic Boulevard.
The route proceeds east on Atlantic Avenue, enters the Atlantic Recreation Center parking lot where a water station is located under a large tree, continues through the lot to Jean LaFitte, returns to Atlantic Avenue, then heads west to South 13th Street, turns onto Cedar Street and returns to South 11th Street and the start and finish area.
Registration opens in August through the race platform and via Milestone Race Authority. Race timing will be provided by Milestone Race Authority. Packet pick up is scheduled for November 6 at Game Changers Running Company on 14th Street in Fernandina Beach, with additional packet pick up available the morning of the run at the event site.
All runners receive a Cross the Line shirt highlighting the six branches of service: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force. Prizes from Game Changers Running Company will be awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers, and medals will be given to top finishers in each age group. Proceeds support a selected veteran or a Gold Star veteran family from Nassau County. Volunteer opportunities are coordinated by the Cross the Line board.
