Run For Valor 10K + 5K Trail Run, 10K Ruck, Virtual 10K + 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk
The 4th annual Run For Valor is a multi-distance running and rucking event held at Valor Ranch, a 120 acre property in King George, Virginia. The event offers on-site and virtual options and supports Valor Ranch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides recreational therapy programs for injured service members, veterans, and first responders. One hundred percent of registration proceeds are directed to Valor Ranch.
Distances and formats include:
- 10K Trail Run officially timed, double-loop on rugged terrain
- 10K Ruck officially timed, rucking over the same double-loop
- 5K Trail Run officially timed, off-road course with uneven terrain
- 1 Mile Run/Walk on gravel roads and well-packed trails
- Virtual 10K and Virtual 5K with remote participation
The course description notes trail features such as tree roots, uneven footing, and mud in places, and the 1 mile route uses gravel roads and packed trails.
