Run for the Woods - Sorrento
Run for the Woods - Sorrento is a trail running and hiking event on February 14, 2027, held at the Bear Pond Trail Head / Hwy 46 entrance to Seminole State Forest in Sorrento, Florida.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles) trail run or walk
- 12K (7.14 miles) run or hike
- Half marathon (13.3 miles) trail run or walk
All courses take place on the scenic trails of Seminole State Forest. A separate category is available for tracked chair mobility challenge participants who will take part in an adapted trail event.
The event is a charity event sponsored by Tracked Chair Adventures, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Registration fees are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Registration windows and fees for the running events are listed by distance. For the 5K, 12K and half marathon registration opens July 14, 2026 and closes November 2, 2026; listed fees are $55, $65 and $75 respectively.
