About the race
Run for the Woods is a community trail event presented by Rock Hollow Woods ELC and scheduled for September 26, 2026, at Rock Hollow Woods ELC in Birdsboro, PA. The event includes a wheel measured course on natural trails that pass through forests and meadows.
Distances:
- 5K trail run
- 1 mile all-ages fun run/walk
Pre-registration is required and closes on September 19, 2026; there are no race day signups. Registration completed by August 31, 2026, includes a T-shirt; entries after that date do not include a T-shirt. Entry fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $15 for the fun run/walk with the shirt policy as described.
Amenities announced for participants include children's activities, raffles, refreshments for finishers, a time clock at the finish, and instant timing results. Awards are planned for first overall male and female and for the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and over.
