Run for the Trees - Loveland
Run for the Trees is a community event held in Loveland, Colorado, to celebrate Arbor Day and support local environmental initiatives. The event serves as a fundraiser for the municipal tree planting fund and is organized in collaboration with the local Parks and Recreation department. Participants can choose between two participation formats:
- 2 Mile Fun Run
- 2 Mile Virtual Run
The event takes place at a location on West 22nd Street and features a festival atmosphere including live music and various vendors. All registered participants receive a custom race bib and sunglasses. The first 25 individuals to register are also provided with a tree seedling.
The virtual option allows participants to record their distance remotely, while the in-person fun run brings the community together in a central park setting.
