Run for the Trees Jeannette Genius McKean Memorial 5K
The event is a point to point 5K run/walk held in Winter Park, Florida, on May 8, 2027, with the finish situated on a tree canopied dirt road on Genius Drive. The City of Winter Park and Track Shack organize the event to benefit the Winter Park Tree Replacement Fund. In person finishers receive a young tree sapling and a T shirt; a free kids' run is offered for children with distances from 100 to 400 yards and ribbons for finishers.

The race is B‑Tag timed and is produced as a cupless event. At registration and bib pickup participants may choose a reusable cup; touchless refill stations are available in the pre and post event area and on course. A virtual participation option is available, with packet pickup or domestic shipping offered for virtual entrants.
Entry fees vary by date with reduced rates for youth and seniors; processing fees apply. All registrations and entry fees are non refundable. Participants must be able to maintain a 15 minute per mile pace to remain on course; those who cannot may be directed to sidewalks and may not be recorded as official finishers.
