About the race

Run for the Stacks is held as part of the second annual Williamsburg Pancake Festival and includes a 5K race, a 5K race-walk, and a 1 mile fun run. The 5K is presented as the first Race for the Stacks 5K and is listed as an official CRR Grand Prix race.

The course begins along the Colonial Parkway by the Jamestown Settlement, proceeds onto Jamestown Island, and returns along the same route. The event encourages themed attire, including pajamas or breakfast-themed costumes, and offers special awards and prizes for themed participants. After the events, participants may gather at Billsburg Brewery for post-race treats and drinks.
