Course and race-day information
The course is an out-and-back on the Virginia Capitol Trailhead. Race packet pick-up will be offered on race day beginning at 8:00 AM; this replaces prior years' pre-race packet pick-up window. Day-of-event registration at the race is listed at $45.00 for the 5k and $25.00 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Participants in the 5k receive a beer ticket for those 21 and older, a swag bag, and a t-shirt. Shirt availability and size selection are guaranteed only for registrations received by 4:00 PM on December 5, 2025; organizers will make efforts to honor requests received after that date if possible.

The event is hosted by the Junior League of Hampton Roads, Incorporated (JLHR). JLHR states its mission is to advance women’s leadership for community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
