Run for the Roses : Manhattan, KS

The Run for the Roses takes place from April 25 to April 30, 2026 in Manhattan, Kansas at 1500 Denison Avenue (Manhattan, KS 66506). The in-person route starts and finishes in the K-State Gardens, includes a lap on the track inside the World War I football field, and passes Anderson Hall, the Student Union, and Ahearn Fieldhouse. The 5K course is USATF certified for 2026 (KS21034TJD). Dogs are not allowed on the course.

Listed entry fees are $35 for the 5K ($25 for ages 0–21), $20 for the 1K Walk, $35 for the Virtual 5K, and $25 for the Active Military 5K option. Race pricing increases after March 1, 2026. Virtual participants may run any 5K course between April 24 and April 29, 2026 and submit their results via the instructions in the registration confirmation.
